As we had reported earlier, director Susi Ganesan will be making a comeback in Kollywood with 'Thiruttu Payale 2', the sequel of his critically acclaimed super hit 'Thiruttu Payale'. The film will be produced by Kalpathi S.Aghoram, Kalpathi S.Ganesh and Kalpathi S.Suresh of AGS Entertainments the prestigious banner which entered Kollywood as a producer with 'Thiruttu Payale' in 2006.

The sequel will have National award winning actor Bobby Simha and Prasanna as the main leads. Now the female lead has also been confirmed.

The director has confirmed in his interview to a leading English daily that Amala Paul has been finalized as the female lead of this film. The character will be as powerful as the two male characters and the director feels that the 'Myna' Actress would be the apt choice for the role as she is the mixture of "hot and cold".

'Thiruttu Payale 2' will be going on floors on November 2. Details about the other cast members and technical crew will be announced soon.
