Amala Paul with her recent film 'Aadai' has proven to one and all what a dedicated actress she is by going dress less for much of the film to justify the theme of the film and her role. According to police reports in 2017 the pretty actress had bought a Mercedez Benz car from Bengaluru and registered it in Pondicherry RTO's office. The cost of the vehicle is said to be 1.25 Crores and she had paid a tax of rupees 1.25lakhs. If the car had been registered in Kerala the tax would have been rupees 25lakhs and hence a tax evasion case was registered against Amala by the transport authorities.

It is alleged that fake address documents have been used to register the car in Pondicherry and the Kerala Crime Branch has concluded that it does not have jurisdiction over that state though the RTO has been alerted regarding the offense. Hence the crime branch of Kerala has dropped the case against Amala Paul which should come as a huge relief to her and she can go about making more meaningful movies.
