As we all know multi-talented star Dhanush will be penning the script and also play the lead role in 'Velai Illa Pattadhari 2' to be directed by his sister-in-law and 'Kochadaiiyaan' director Soundarya Rajinikanth. This project will be bankrolled by Kalaipuli S Thanu along with Dhanush.

The lucky girl who will be playing the female lead in this sequel is yet to be officially confirmed by the makers. However Amala Paul has confirmed in her recent interview to a National Newspaper that her upcoming projects include 'VIP 2' apart from 'Vada Chennai' and 'Thiruttu Payale 2'.

It is worth noting that the 'Myna' girl paired up with Dhanush for the first time in 'Velai Illa Pattadhari' the blockbuster 2014 which was also the landmark 25th film of Dhanush as an actor.

2017 is going to be the most memorable year in Amala Paul's acting career and we wish her best to achieve more laurels with her performance in these film.
