Dusky beauty Amala Paul had recently made a comeback after the lukewarm response to Bhaskar oru Rascal, with the psycho-thriller blockbuster Ratsasan directed by Ramkumar. The busy actress has been currently associated with a number of exciting projects in Tamil and Malayalam and is shuttling between shoots, but took her time to celebrate the new year, with her movie team.

While most of the actresses took off for a new year vacation to exotic locales, Amala Paul had been working till December 31 night, as she had been shooting for her next, the Meyaadha Maan fame Rathnakumar directorial Aadai. The movie is currently being shot in Chennai, and reportedly the crew had given a break to Amala only a while before the New year began, and the pretty actress celebrated the occasion with the team of Aadai, by cutting a cake. Recently she had celebrated Christmas along with her Adho andha Paravai Pola team, and the movie has wrapped shoot as well.

Amala Paul plays a character named Kamini in Aadai, which reportedly speaks about an important social issue, and the first look poster of the movie itself had created a huge impact on social media, with Amala Paul's bold pose wrapped in tissue papers. Amala Paul currently has Aadai, Adho Andha Paravai Pola, an untitled flick where she plays a forensic surgeon, besides the Malayalam biggie Aadujeevitham and an untitled Bollywood movie co-starring Arjun Rampal in her kitty.
