Reports are coming in that actress Amala Paul has been released on bail following an arrest pertaining to her discrepancies in vehicle tax evasion case.

It is a known fact that the actress was alleged for evading about 20 lakhs in tax when she booked a luxury car in Pondicherry instead of her native Kerala. The Economic Offences Wing of the Crime Branch have registered a case in this regards and have been investigating the same.

Reportedly, Amala Paul was summoned to Crime Branch office in Kochi yesterday where she was arrested  following which she was immediately released based on the bail she had availed from the Kerala High Court earlier.

It is also worth mentioning here that actors like Suresh Gopi and Fahadh Faasil have been involved in similar cases.
