Director Vijay and Amala Paul’s wedding engagement will take place in Cochin and the wedding ceremony will take place in Chennai, as revealed by the ‘Myna’ girl’s mother.

Now sources aver that the engagement will be conducted in St Jude Church, Choondi, on June 7. The couple will exchange the engagement ring in the Church and it will be a private affair with people close to both the families. The engagement will be followed by a grand get together function in CIAL Convention Centre, Nedumbassery and this will be attended by friends and associates belonging to film industry.

The Wedding ceremony based on Hindu rituals will be conducted in Mayor Ramanathan Chettiyar Hall in Chennai on June 12.

Director Vijay is currently busy with the works related to the release of his directorial venture ‘Saivam’. The film has been produced by his home banner. Amala Paul has stated acting in the Malayalam film ‘Mili’ opposite Nivin Pauly she has also signed up another Malayalam film ‘Laila O Laila’ in which she will be sharing screen space with Mohan Lal.
