We had reported earlier that Amala Paul had donated her eyes after inaugurating an eye hospital in Pondicherry.  The actress has taken a giant leap towards helping the needy in getting eyesight which is the most valuable in anyone's life.Amala Paul has started a foundation called Amala Home Foundation which would create awareness about eye donation and also collect funds to help the poor and needy. 

In her statement she has said  “Not only I have pledged to donate my eyes, but also to work extensively in eye care field by launching “Amala Home”, a foundation with a sheer focus to simplify eye donation for all and help garner funds to facilitate more surgeries for the needy. There is a lot that needs to be done and together we can imagine a future where all can see with their own eyes, the colors of our beautiful and growing nation. RIGHT TO SEE A right which every human deserves. Let’s make it happen !!!”
