Here's what Amal Neerad has to be say about Mammootty's 'Kunjali Marikkar'

There have been reports doing the rounds that filmmaker Amal Neerad will be directing Mammootty for an upcoming biopic on 'Kunjali Marikkar'. However, the director says that he has no knowledge of where such rumours spring up from.

Amal Neerad who is currently cranking the camera for Anwar Rasheed's Trance that has Fahadh Faasil in the lead role clarified that he won't be directing the film. Meanwhile, an official from August Cinemas, the producer of the much-anticipated epic film, confirms that an official announcement on the project's details will be announced on Mammootty's birthday, September 7th.
