Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan is constantly on the run shooting for his many films, hosting 'Bigg Boss Tamil 7' and also mentoring his political party the Makkal Needhi Maiam. The legend celebrated his 68th birthday on November 7th and hosted a grand party in which Aamir Khan, Sivakarthikeyan, Suriya, Vishnu Vishal, Nelson, Lokesh Kanagaraj, H. Vinoth and Vignesh Shivan among others participated.
Top Mollywood filmmaker Alphonse Puthran who is a hardcore Kamal Haasan fan sang songs in praise of the legendary actor and tried to reach it to him. Since he could not reach the busy superstar he contacted actor-director Parthiban and handed over his valuable gift of songs to him. After Parthiban ensured that the songs reached its destination, Kamal has responded with a voice note. "I listened to Alphonse Puthren's song, you said your body is not well, but your mind seems to be fine. Very happy. May you be happy too. Congratulations! It's his decision to retire from cinema, but tell him to take good care of his body and health. Congratulations Take care Alphonse."
A few weeks ago Alphonse had announced that he is ending his cinema career after discovering that he has autism spectrum disorder and will no longer direct theatrical films. He was in the midst of directing a new movie titled 'Gift' starring Sandy in the lead the fate of which is unknown as of now. The Kerala based entertainer has directed the critically acclaimed films 'Neram' and 'Premam' which reached a pan Indian audience.
