After a gap of 7 years, Premam movie director Alphonse Puthren is back with his next movie titled Gold. On Tuesday, the movie's much-awaited teaser featuring Prithviraj and Nayanthara has been unveiled online. Going by the teaser, it looks like the upcoming movie is a fun-filled entertainer that has Prithviraj playing the character Joshi S, while Nayanthara's character has been named Sumangali Unnikrishnan.

Besides the leads, teaser also features Justin John, M A Shiyas and Faisal Muhammed, who have all acted in Premam as well.

Gold also has Shammi Thilakan, Chemban Vinod Jose, Lalu Alex, Mallika Sukumaran, Vinay Forrt, Baburaj, Saiju Kurup, Jagadeesh, Roshan Mathew, Jaffer Idukki, Sudheesh, Shabareesh Varma, Abu Salim and Deepti Sati in pivotal roles. Cinematography is by Anend C Chandran, the music and background score are Rajesh Murugesan. The backgroud score is what stands out in the teaser as well, with the beats almost reminding us of the high-octane score of Neram. Produced by Supriya Menon and Listin Stephen under the banner Prithviraj Productions and Magic Frames, Gold will be released in theatres soon.

Alphonse Puthren's last release, Premam, was one of the biggest blockbusters of 2015 and a trendsetter. Meanwhile, Prithviraj is waiting for the release of Jana Gana Mana, which is expected to release in theatres in April. On the other side, Nayanthara will be seen next in Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, which is also set to hit screens on April 28. As Gold marks the first collaboration of Prithviraj and Nayanthara in a full-length movie and also the comeback of the Premam director, expectations around the project are sky high!
