Alpha
'Alpha' is a highly anticipated flick not only around the world but also in India as well. One of the main reasons that could be attributed to this is the stunning imagery that got to see in the trailers earlier.
The film which is touted to be a historical adventure drama is directed by Albert Hughes starring Kodi Smit as the lead protagonist. The story revolves around the transformation of a soft hunter who happens to befriend a wolf. The story is actually set 20,000 years ago in the upper paleolithic period.
There was also controversy surrounding the film as it was alleged that five Alberta bisons were killed for the movie. PETA had even called for the boycott of the movie just two days before its release.
The story for the film has been created by the director himself, Albert Hughes. Daniele Sebastian and Weidenhaupt has jintly written the screenplay for the movie. Joseph S Debeasy has composed the music score the film which is being bankrolled by Columbia Pictures, Studio 8 and The Picture Company.
While 'Alpha' ha already released worldwide, the film is slated to hit the screens in India on August 24th.
