'Alluri', in which Sree Vishnu is playing a powerful cop, is hitting the screens on September 23. This is one of the early Telugu films whose release date has been confirmed for September.

"The idea is to make the most of the Dasara vacation. The 'Raja Raja Chora' actor has got a fierce role in the movie," the makers said, releasing a poster in which the 'Arjuna Phalguna' star is seen holding a spear. We see that he is a trigger-happy cop as well.

Starring Kayadu Lohar as the heroine, 'Alluri' is a fictionalized biopic that tells the story of a real-life cop. Directed by Pradeep Varma, it is produced by Bekkem Venugopal of Lucky Media. Harshavardhan Rameshwar's music and Raj Thota's cinematography have been highlighted. Ram Krishnan has choreographed the fights.

Yesteryear hero Suman has got a key role. Tanikella Bharani, Madhusudhan Rao, Pramodini, Raja Ravindra, Ravi Varma, and Jaya Vani have other roles.
