Allu Arjuns Team Responds To Stampede At Sandhya Theatre

The release of Pushpa: The Rule, starring Icon Star Allu Arjun, has been met with widespread enthusiasm, but a tragic incident has cast a shadow over the celebrations. During the movie's premiere at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad, a stampede occurred when Allu Arjun made a surprise appearance, resulting in the death of a woman named Revathi.

Revathi’s husband, Bhaskar, spoke about the heartbreaking incident, explaining that the family had gone to the theater primarily for their son, Sri Teja, who is an ardent fan of Allu Arjun.

"Our son Sri Teja is such a big fan that everyone calls him Pushpa. We came to the cinema for him. But now, we cannot bear the loss of my wife," Bhaskar shared, visibly grief-stricken.

He recounted the sequence of events, stating that his wife and children initially entered the theater when the crowd was manageable. However, the situation spiraled out of control when Allu Arjun arrived, drawing a massive influx of fans and leading to the stampede.

Bhaskar added, “The police performed CPR, and our son regained consciousness before being rushed to the hospital. The doctors have said his condition remains critical.”

Relatives of the family have called for Allu Arjun to acknowledge the incident and offer support to the grieving family. They are also demanding accountability from Sandhya Theatre, urging authorities to take appropriate action to ensure such incidents are not repeated in the future.

Meanwhile, team Allu Arjun also responded to the incident saying, "The incident that occurred yesterday at Sandhya theatre is truly unfortunate. The boy is currently receiving treatment in the hospital. Our team will personally visit the family and provide the necessary support. We are committed to addressing this matter."
