Allu Arjun Waved at Fans Even After a Woman Died: Revanth Reddy

Telangana CM Revanth Reddy slammed Allu Arjun for his visit to the Sandhyra Theatre on December 4 for the premiere of Pushpa 2. He said that Allu Arjun and his team did not follow the police's orders and were responsible for the death of a woman and her son falling into a coma.

Revanth Reddy stated that the police had instructed the theatre management not to allow actors into the theatre due to only one entrance, which would cause crowd control issues and a huge security risk. He argued that despite not receiving permission from the police, Allu Arjun visited the theatre on December 4 during the Pushpa 2 premiere show. He said, "It would have been okay if Allu Arjun had calmly gone to the theatre, watched the film, and left. But he did a roadshow at RTC X Roads, waving to fans through the vehicle's sunroof.

As he was doing this in an area with many theatres, fans from all the theatres gathered to watch him." "When he arrived, people rushed into the theatre as soon as the gates opened. On the other side, his 60-70 bouncers started pushing the crowd forcefully, resulting in a stampede. It became difficult for the police to control the situation. Even in that stampede, the mother held her son tightly, trying to protect him," Revanth added.

He explained that when Allu Arjun went upstairs, people followed him to the upper balcony, causing another stampede on the stairs. He said the police tried to intervene, but the theatre management blocked them. He alleged that even after being informed about the woman’s death and her son being in a coma, the theatre management did not take any action.

"Eventually, the ACP went and told Allu Arjun that the situation was getting out of control and asked him to leave. But he didn't listen and told the ACP that he would watch the entire movie. Then, the DCP went and strongly warned Allu Arjun to leave the place. Only then did he leave the theatre and again waved to fans from his vehicle's rooftop. Even after such tragic incidents, he still waved at his fans," Revanth explained. Revanth stated that this was the reason the police registered a case against the theatre management, security personnel, and Allu Arjun. He said that the police did their duty and questioned whether cinema stars had any special privilege that prevented them from being arrested, even after committing such serious offences.
