It's the birthday of director Maruthi today (October 8). A host of Telugu film celebs took to their social media pages to wish the 'Ee Rojullo' and 'Mahanubhavudu' maker on the occasion.

Allu Arjun described the 'Sailaja Reddy Alludu' maker as a friend. Bunny tweeted, "Many many happy returns of the day to one of my oldest friends, well-wisher and director Maruthi (sic)."

Sai Dharam Tej, who was the hero of Maruthi's 2019 box-office hit 'Prati Roju Pandage', said, "Wishing my darling @DirectorMaruthi anna a very happy birthday...thank you for a lot of things...thank you for standing by me in some of the hardest times...can never forget the times you made me laugh a countless number of times...love you anna (sic)."

Actress Lavanya Tripathi, who was catapulted to greater fame by Maruthi's 'Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy', wrote, "Wishing the super talented and sweet @DirectorMaruthi sir a very happy birthday! Have a great day sir."
