Pushpa: The Rule, the second installment of the Allu Arjun starrer film franchise, is undoubtedly one of the highly anticipated Indian films in 2023. Now, the hot news is Allu Arjun is going to start shooting for Pushpa 2 on Saturday.

It is worth mentioning that the makers filmed Pushpa 2 for ten days without Allu Arjun. The regular shooting will commence once Bunny starts shooting on January 21st in Visakhapatnam. Allu Arjun traveled from Hyderabad to Vizag for the shooting yesterday and he received a grand welcome from his fans in Vizag. He was papped at the Hyderabad airport as well.

A source close to the production unit revealed, "The famous Port area and other parts of Vizag will host this schedule which will go on for 20 days. Hyderabad schedule follows soon after.” The team has planned to shoot the film in Maredumilli forest, East Godavari, where the first part was extensively shot, and in Bangkok.

“Sukumar is looking to complete the shooting formalities with the Bangkok schedule. As of now, the target is to wrap up the film by August or September-end,” the source adds. Reportedly, one major addition to the star cast is that Jagapathi Babu has been roped in to play a pivotal role. Pushpa: The Rule will focus on Pushpa’s reign as he is now the head of the smuggling syndicate and his rivalry with the villains.

Written and directed by Sukumar, Pushpa franchise stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahad Faasil, Sunil, Anasuya, Jagadeesh, Dhananjaya and Rao Ramesh in key roles. Mythri Movie Makers are bankrolling the mega-budget franchise with music by Devi Sri Prasad and cinematography by Miroslaw Kuba.
