Allu Arjun and Rashmika starrer ‘Pushpa: The Rise,‘ directed by Sukumar, emerged to be one of the biggest blockbusters of 2021 and there has been hype surrounding its sequel, ‘Pushpa: The Rule,’ ever since.

Recent reports claimed that some of the main characters will go through major changes in the second part and that Rashmika’s Srivalli character will be killed off in the movie. However, the film’s producer Y Ravi Shankar rubbished the rumours in a recent interview with an entertainment portal. “That’s all trash. This is all nonsense. Until now we didn’t hear the story to be fair and frank, so it’s not like that, and all these are speculations,” he was quoted as saying.

“At this point of time you write anything on that film, no one knows anything about that, so they believe in it. This is being carried by other websites and TV channels also, but it’s false news,” the producer further added. On being asked if Rashmika’s character does live in the second part, he confirmed, “Yeah, yeah, sure.” Pushpa: The Rise also starred Fahadh Faasil in the lead role, while Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Sunil, Rao Ramesh, Dhananjaya, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Ajay and Ajay Ghosh played supporting roles.
