Uncertainty prevails over the release date of Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' - Full story

Uncertainty prevails over the release date of Allu Arjuns Pushpa 2: The Rule - Full story

We're all aware that the 2021 film 'Pushpa: The Rise' became one of the biggest blockbusters in actor Allu Arjun's career. Riding on the success of the first part, the makers proceeded with the sequel, 'Pushpa 2: The Rule'. Initially, 'Pushpa 2' was scheduled to release on August 15th, 2024.

Recently, reports were indicating that 'Pushpa 2' might be delayed due to pending shoots. However, Mythri Movie Makers, the production house behind the film, created confusion among fans by stating in a post celebrating the second single hitting 100 million views that 'Pushpa 2' will indeed be released on August 15th.

Today, actor Ram Pothineni's new movie 'Double Ismart' was announced for release on August 15th, suggesting a possible delay for 'Pushpa 2'. Sources indicate that the 'Pushpa 2' team still has around 50 days of shooting and reshoots pending, and a final decision on the release date hasn't been made yet.

Speculations are that 'Pushpa 2' might have a release between October to December. We have to wait till next month to find out the truth. Directed by Sukumar, the sequel features Allu Arjun, Rashmika, Fahadh Faasil, Dhananjaya, Rao Ramesh, Ajay, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj and others. Devi Sri Prasad composes music for this upcoming action entertainer.
