Of late, Tollywood has been importing excellent cinematographic talent from other industries, either because the director hails from another industry or otherwise. In the case of Mahesh Babu's next, AR Murugadoss is working with Santosh Sivan, the National Award-winning cinematographer of 'Dil Se' and 'Asoka' fame. Earlier, Puri Jagannadh, thanks to the relations he could establish with Amol Rathod during the making of 'Buddah... Hoga Terra Baap', brought the talented cinematographer to Tollywood for 'Iddarammayilatho', and 'Heart Attack'. Last year, Thirru debuted in Telugu with 'Janatha Garage' months after our audience tasted his success in Suriya's '24'. Known for his dexterous using of light, he has done such movies as technically superb flicks as 'Hey Ram', 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani', 'Aakrosh', and 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa'.

Selected possibly by Allu Arjun, was Ayanaka Bose of 'Dostana', 'Kites', 'Student Of They Year', 'Kick' (Hindi), and 'Dishoom' fame for Harish Shankar's 'DJ-Duvvada Jagannadham'.

Latest, it is CK Muraleedharan of '3 Idiots', 'PK' and the more recent 'Mohenjo Daro' fame. He will crank the camera for NTR's next with director Bobby.

Looks like our top stars have realized the indispensability of visuals at a time when movie-watching experience has a lot to do with cinematography.
