'Pushpa: The Rise' has won multiple awards at the Filmfare Awards South 2022. The Sukumar directorial won awards in the prestigious categories, namely, Best Actor, Best Film and Best Director. Devi Sri Prasad also won the Best Music Director Award, while Miroslaw Kuba Brozek won the Best Cinematographer Award.

Taking to social media, Allu Arjun said that his film has pulled off a clean sweep. "PUSHPA CLEAN SWEEP AT Filmfare. BEST ACTOR, BEST DIRECTOR, BEST MUSIC DIRECTOR, BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY, BEST MALE SINGER, BEST FEMALE SINGER AND BEST FILM. THANK YOU ALL. HUMBLED (SIC)," tweeted Bunny.

Mythri Movie Makers posted pics from the awards event, held on Sunday in Bengaluru.

As for 'Pushpa 2', it will go on the floors in the third quarter of this month. Mythri and Sukumar Writings are planning to can the first schedule in Hyderabad, followed by another schedule somewhere in a jungle. Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna are expected to join the crew later this year.
