The pre-release event of 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' was held on Monday evening. The film's cast and crew graced the occasion. Allu Arjun spoke at length on the occasion.

I have taken a long gap after 'Naa Peru Surya'. After doing 'DJ', 'Sarrainodu' and 'NPS', I wanted to do only a jolly movie. That's why I kept searching for the right story. The film may have got delayed but the celebrations will be spontaneous.

After 'Samajavaragamana' was tuned, I felt happy that it's sounding good. But never did I imagine that it will become such a blockbuster. My wife has got fed up listening to it everywhere. People have started singing it in her presence and she would feel shy! Hats off for the conception of the song, Thaman, the lyricist, and the musicians.

'Ramuloo Ramulaa' is penned by Shyam and rendered by Anurag Kulkarni, who is one of my favourites. This was conceived as a semi-mass song.

There is a need to encourage lyric writers, as Telugu has to be supported. I sincerely thank the lyricists of our film.

This is my hat-trick blockbuster album with Thaman. One of the best albums in recent times has to be 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo'. Thaman is like my brother and he has become one of the most respected music directors.

PS Vinod's cinematography has made me look handsome. I know I don't look that good. (Laughs)

Murli Sharma garu is one of my favourites and he has played a superb character. Jayaram garu has done something like 200 movies in Malayalam as the male lead. There is so much to learn from him. Rahul Ramakrishna, Sushanth and others have done a very good job.

My daughter has nicknamed the 'Ramuloo Ramulaa' step as the 'Dosa Step'. It's so funny!

You will start being amazed by Pooja Hegde after watching the movie. 'AVPL' gives primacy to women. Nivetha Pethuraj is another plus and she has done a fantastic job.

Tabu garu has been a friend of mine; we have partied many times. She is a fantastic performer. I personally enjoyed working with the National Award winner. Rao Ramesh garu and Rohini garu are fantastic.

Radhakrishna garu is an uncompromising producer. Trivikram garu is like an artist who uses tools (artists and technicians) to best use. I have done three movies with him so far. More than I believe him, he believes me. He has reflected my likes in this movie. He is the one who will be responsible for this product.

Bunny gets emotional, cries:

It was my father who launched me as an actor. I have always been grateful to him but I have never thanked him in public or in private. I want to thank him today for the first time.

It's only after I became a father that I realized that I can never be as great as him. I never had an opportunity to tell him. Daddy, I love you! (Bunny got emotional and broke into tears as he said this).

I made Rs 1 Cr from 'Arya', my second movie. Even though I have always been well-off, I never wanted to stay away from him. I told my wife that I will always be staying with him.

Some people allege that my father has made money through foul means. You just don't know him. He is the kindest person I know. He has been in the film industry for 45 years. Without honesty and integrity, he couldn't have survived this long. He is the topmost producer in the country and is one of the biggest legends. I have always felt that he deserves the Padma Shree. I request the government to confer it on him.

My fans have always supported me. Whenever I open my social media accounts, I see them asking me about my next movie, updates, etc. They are my biggest strengths.
