Allu Arjun is a cultural representative of the Telugu States in Kerala. Fondly called 'Mallu' Arjun there, he is one of the most popular non-Malayali actors in God's Own Country. Recognizing his standing in that State, Star Asianet Middle East, the 24 hours Entertainment Television Channel, has conferred Pravasi Ratna Puraskaram on him.

"Asianet, with a viewership of more than 10 million across the globe, is set to conduct its annual Onam event 'PONNONAM 2016' for non-resident Malayalees residing in the Gulf and other neighboring countries at World Trade Centre, Dubai from 7 p.m. onwards, on Friday (19 August 2016). The management of Asianet feels honored to have Allu Arjun's presence on the evening", the organizers have said in a statement.

It's a recognition Bunny will value. His popularity among the Malayalees is only going to go up after this.
