The Superstar Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar starrer '2.0' directed by Shankar and produced by Lyca Productions is touted as the costliest Indian film ever with the budget said to be above 400 Crores. A new mega project that is developing is budgeted at 500 Crores and has been finalised at the International Investors meet held at Lucknow.
It is going to be a mega live action movie of the greatest Indian epic the 'Ramayana' which is planned as a Hindi, Tamil and Telugu trilingual. The project is initiated by popular Tollywood producer Allu Aravind, Madhu Mandana and Namith Malhotra who signed an agreement with Avinash Kumar Avasthi the Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The film is going to be shot extensively in Uttar Pradesh and is set to feature major stars from Bollywood, Kollywood and Tollywood and the official announcement will come in the following days.
