Allari Pidugu
Balakrishna is a stayer. Any other actor in his place would have packed his bags and gone home after what happened in the last one year or so.
After the blockbuster Narasimha Naidu, Balaya is yet to taste success. In the meanwhile, he also got embroiled in a shoot-out controversy that threatened to tear as under his life. His last films Vijayendra Verma was a colossal dud.
In the event, the importance of Allari Pidugu cannot be over stressed. It is a humongous film as far as his career is concerned.
The film, produced by his brother-in-law under the banner PB Arts, is a make or break for Balaya.
The movie is said to be a family sentiment cum some action film. So Balaya seems to have played safe, to try and attract all kinds of audience.
The films stars the gamine charmed Charmee and the European-featured Katerina Kaif. With two beauties around, there is bound to be no dearth of any glamour. Balaya is set to play a dual role in the film.
Mani Sharma's music is also expected to be on typical lines --- a mix of melody and mass numbers.
The film is directed by Jayanth C Paranji. Now, he is also a beleaguered soul. He too has not had a hit for a long, long time (Shankardada MBBS ran for Chiru's charisma).
She is also desperate to taste success. It is out of desperation major things happen in life.
Allari Pidugu, both Balaya and Jayanth will be hoping, is indeed a major film.
The film set for release next month.
