Comedy maestro 'Allari' Naresh is all set to tickle the audience's funny bones once again. After a series of successful serious roles in films like 'Naandi,' 'Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam,' and 'Ugram,' Naresh is returning to his forte of comedy. His recent uproarious performance in 'Na Sami Ranga' has set the stage for his upcoming summer release, the full-length entertainer 'Aa Okkati Adakku.'
The title 'Aa Okkati Adakku' holds a special place in the hearts of Telugu audiences, reminiscent of the classic film starring Rajendra Prasad and directed by the late EVV Satyanarayana. With Naresh's film adopting the same title and revolving around marital issues, expectations are running high.
The makers of 'Aa Okkati Adakku' announced the film's release date on Monday. Starring Allari Naresh and Faria Abdullah in lead roles, this romantic comedy will now hit the screens on May 3. Accompanying the release date announcement was a witty video featuring Naresh, where he humorously addresses the film's previous postponements before confirming the May 3 release. Initially slated for March 22, the film's release was rescheduled.
The official trailer of 'Aa Okkati Adakku,' released a few weeks ago, teases a hilarious plot. The story follows Gana (Allari Naresh), who, following a priest's prophecy, must marry within 25 days to avoid lifelong bachelorhood. Gana falls for a lively woman (Faria Abdullah) who reciprocates his feelings but refuses to discuss marriage, throwing Gana's plans into disarray.
The film also features Vennela Kishore, Harsha Chemudu, and Ariyana Glory in pivotal roles. Comedian Jamie Lever makes her Telugu debut with this film. Directed by debutant Malli Ankam and produced by Rajiv Chilaka under Chilaka Productions, 'Aa Okkati Adakku' boasts a script by seasoned writer Abburi Ravi. Gopi Sundar handles the music, Suryaa is the cinematographer, and editing is by Chota K Prasad. Expectations are high on the project as viewers are expecting a laughing riot from Allari Naresh and recreate the magic of the classic with Aa Okkati Adakku.
