Allari Naresh's career is looking up this year. In February, his 'Naandhi' became a box-office hit. Directed by debutant Vijay Kanakamedala, it will also be remade in Hindi with Dil Raju as the producer. Marking Naresh's birthday today, a new project was announced.
And now, the actor will be doing a political entertainer. 'Sabhaku Namaskaram' is its title and the title poster unveiled today suggests that Naresh will be seen as a political aspirant who relies on liquor and currency to attract voters. "The poster is a dig at the prevailing political culture," the makers suggest.
Producer Mahesh S Koneru of East Coast Productions, which has previously produced movies such as '118' and 'Miss India', is bankrolling the project. Abburi Ravi is on board to pen the dialogue.
Besides the hero's name, no other cast details have been announced so far.
Naresh is making the right choices these days. In an interview in February, he said that he wants to play both comedic and other kinds of roles. "Vijay Sethupathi plays all sorts of roles. I too want to play negative roles, too," he stated.
