Allari Naresh's 'Bangaru Bullodu' was supposed to hit the screens in 2019. It has, for now, locked a January 2021 release after bypassing an OTT release in the pandemic year. Written and directed by Gari Palika, the comedy entertainer stars Pooja Jhaveri of 'Dwaraka' fame as the female lead.

"We are now readying to release our movie in January. The audio, composed by Sai Kartheek, will be out soon," AK Entertainments has said in a statement.

Tanikella Bharani, Posani Krishna Murali, Prithvi, Praveen, Vennelakishore, Satyam Rajesh, Prabhas Srinu, Jabardasth Mahesh, Anant, Bhadram, and Ajay Ghosh, among others, are part of the cast. Cinematography is by Satish Muthyala.

Naresh, who played a supporting role in Mahesh Babu's 'Maharshi', also awaits the release of 'Naandhi' in early 2021.
