No movie entertainment tomorrow as part of Jallikattu protest

Many Kollywood celebrities and also associations of various film professions have decided to join the ongoing people's struggle for the conduct of Jallikattu.

The Nadigar Sangam has announced a Silent protest tomorrow (January 20) between 8 am to 6 pm. All film shootings have been cancelled to facilitate actors to take part in the protest.

Likewise other film related work like dubbing, editing and music recording will also be stopped tomorrow as vmany other associations are also expected to participate in the pro-Jallikattu protest.

Now the latest announcement in that all cinema halls across the state have cancelled the shows between 8 am to 6 am which means there will be no noon or matinee shows on Friday.

'Sivappu Enakku Pidikkum' was the only Tamil film that was scheduled to hit the screens tomorrow and now we will have to wait and see whether the makers will postpone the release or go ahead with the schedule.
