Even before 'Gautamiputra Satakarni' came to Balakrishna, the Nandamuri actor had evinced interest in a Krishna Vamsi story. Titled as 'Rythu', it was said that Balayya's 100th film would be this. In the event, Krish came up with a historical and the actor felt it would be the most apt for his 100th film. 'Rythu', thus, came to be the 101st.
Even before the release of 'GS', 'Rythu' will be launched. It's in December, by which time both Balayya and Krishna Vamsi will have done away with their current commitments. Sundeep Kishan-starrer 'Nakshatram', a drama involving a youngster who aspires to be a police officer, will probably hit the screens in December itself.
Since Krishna Vamsi is known to handle subjects with unseen-before sensibilities, 'Rythu' will be keenly awaited by the audience. After all, it deals with a problem most Indians are emotionally affected by - farmers' plight. As someone who is a legislator and comes with a mass image, Balayya must be upbeat about doing this one.
The early planning on the part of the makers makes one hope 'Rythu' will be Balayya's 2nd and final release next year.
