Heroes come. Heroes go. Heroines come. Heroines go.

But if there is one breed that has better longevity than others then it is the comedians.

Telugu film industry can certainly pride itself for having a very talented bunch of comedians, who can be compared with the best of the rest, at any given point.

The likes of Brahmanandam, Ali, Sunil, L B Sriram are no way inferior to any of the comedians at any other part. In fact, humor in Telugu films is pretty evolved.

Venu Madhav, the popular one now, certainly belongs to the big league.

The man may be short in height, but he is tall in his ability to elicit laugh.

The man has silently completely a decade in the industry this month.

Venu’s importance can be gauged by the fact that he is now a standard fixture in most films --- from Chiru to Venky to any of the newcomers, Venu is a constant.

For someone who started his career on the fringes, this is indeed a great achievement. Behind this, lies a story of hard work , discipline and immense self-belief. His comedy stands out for earthiness and contemporary ideas.

Venu Madhav, who also acted as a hero in Hungama, says he owes it to his directors and senior stars who gave him the opportunity to flourish.
