Puri Jagannadh's 'Rogue' has been in news for some reason or the other. Salman Khan has shown interest in remaking this movie into Hindi with Suraj Pancholi as the hero. Set to be released in the last week of March (as per the film's main villain Thakur Anoop Singh), the film will present a new female talent and her name is Angela. ('Rogue' was also the first Telugu film signed up by 'Thikka' fame Mannara Chopra, Priyanka Chopra's girl-cousin).
Now that Puri comes with a spectacular record for spotting/introducing to Telugu audience promising actresses (right from Anushka, Hansika Motwani, Kangna Ranaut, Asin, Adah Sharma, Neha Sharma, Disha Patani, the now-forgotten Rakshitha), Angela will be keenly watched out for by Tollywood's who's who.
In his exclusive interview to IndiaGlitz, Puri recently talked about how he manages to spot such talent where others fail. "You too can spot them if you ask ten girls to say dialogues and make them dance to test their energy levels. Other directors too can spot talent if they are ready to take the risk. If you want to work with an established heroine, a Samantha or a Kajal, as it's a safe bet, you won't be able to introduce a new face," he said.
Come tomorrow (Feb 19), the Motion Poster of 'Rogue' will be unveiled. The film has Ishan, son of producer CR Manohar's brother, playing the hero. It's a Kannada-Telugu film.
