Jeevan starrer 'Machaakkaran' will hit the screens this Deepavali. The cast and crew of the movie are upbeat about the movie's fortunes at the box office.

Directed by Thamizh Vannan, the movie has musical score by Yuvanshankar Raja.

Sources close to the director say, ‘The whole unit was so engrossed with the work and worked like a family during the shooting. Actress Kamna Jethmalani almost burst into tears when the entire shooting was wound up’, he said.

Music by Yuvanshankar Raja is a major highlight of the movie. Thamizh Vannan and Yuvanshankar got the act right in just one go.

The director okayed Yuvan's tunes immediately after listening to them and sought no alternatives.

The crew of 'Machaakkaran' is planning to go to Thirumala Thirupathy Hills on the eve of the movie's release on 7 November to offer their prayers for its success.
