A man from Bali, Indonesia spotted a very creepy looking insect on the ceiling of his house. Describing it as ‘alien-like,’ the man shared a video of the insect with its hairy tentacles around it. Hari Toae suggested that the uninvited visitor may have come to his house in order to take shelter from the rain. Whatever the reason may be the weird insect which seems to be a cross between an octopus or jellyfish and an insect, and is quite scary looking.

He said: “I will let it stay in my house, but only for the night. I don't want it to scare my guests away. It's not something I've ever seen before. I don't think it comes from this neighbourhood.” In a world where we kill everything we don’t like, this is a sweet gesture by the man. Experts suggest that the creature is actually a member of a family of moths known as Arctiinae. The insect has wings and four tentacles that act as scent organs to attract mates.
