Recreating yesteryear super hit films and songs have always been a trend, that is widely celebrated in Bollywood. With that said, a reprise version of the evergreen number 'Tumhe Apne Banane Ki' is on cards!

As you know veteran director Mahesh Bhatt will be donning the director's hat again with the sequel 'Sadak 2'. His daughter Alia Bhatt plays the lead role along with her sister, Pooja Bhatt, who was leading lady in the prequel.

In a recent interview , the 'Kalank' actress revealed that the film's shoot will begin in the month of May. Interestingly, the movie will also have a reprise version of the song 'Tumhe Apna Banane Ki Kasam'.

When Sanjay Dutt was recently asked about the movie's story plot, the actor spilled the beans saying, "The movie will deal with the issue of depression. Alia and Aditya will play the role of a young couple. Myself and Pooja will reprise the same character (of the prequel)."

'Sadak' is an entire romantic thriller that featured Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt in the lead roles. The Mahesh Bhatt directorial which was released in 1991, was a huge hit.

The sequel will have Alia Bhatt and Adithya Roy Kapur in the lead along with Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt playing the pivotal roles. The movie marks the first-evercollaboration of Mahesh Bhatt with both her daughters - Alia Bhatt and Pooja Bhatt. 'Sadak 2' is slated to release on March 25, 2020.
