Usually its the hero who saves the damsel in distress. But here, during a recent event, it was so refreshing to see an actress coming to the rescue of her hero.

At the promotional event of 'Shaandaar', Alia Bhatt helped Shahid Kapoor to escape from the series of personal questions shooted by media. In fact when the media didn't stop and went on throwing question after questions, the young beauty got irked and asked them to stay focused on their professional side.

It happened so that Shahid was repeatedly asked about his married life and wife Mira. Sensing her co-star's uneasiness over this, Alia sprang up to his rescue and turned down all the queries one by one. And she was asked about such actions, Alia remarked she is "just protective about Shahid" and also pointed out that they are here for 'Shaandaar'. "I get very irritated when people ask more personal questions when we're trying to be on the work front. Make it more about the work. It's only fair," quoted Alia.

Directed by Vikas Bahl, 'Shaandaar' is slated to release on Oct 22 2015.
