The versions of ‘Samjhavan’ from ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’, ‘Ek Kudi’ from ‘Udta Punjab’ and ‘Humsafar’ from ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ sounded the best in her voice.

According to a report, the ‘Raazi’ actress will be seen playing the role of a singer in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s next film. The source added, "Though a fun film, it will capture her character’s journey and all that she goes through to achieve her dreams of making it big as a singer.” The film is going to be a family drama, written by Ashwiny’s husband, filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari and screenwriter Nikhil Mehrotra.

Confirming the news, Alia said that she would be teaming up with director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari for her next. Calling the ‘Nil Battey Sannata’ director a fabulous one, Bhatt is super-duper excited to work with her. And we too can’t wait to see this amazing combo together!

On the work front, Alia will be seen in the upcoming Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’ opposite rumored boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. She will also be seen in Abhishek Varman’s ‘Kalank’, opposite Varun Dhawan. Both the films are scheduled for 2019 release.
