Apart from all the fame and glory, being a filmstar, or any kind of public figure for that matter, comes with some drawbacks. Biggest one of them is probably the invasion of privacy and constant attention by the media. Actress Alia Bhatt recently spoke about this matter and shared what that cost of being a public figure is.
During a recent conversation with IANS, Alia was asked whether her life gets hectic due to the constant attention. The actress replied, "It does. But then I am like ‘why am I an actor?’ If you want to be a public figure then your life will get public. That’s why one tries to protect his/her personal life.”
Media is often far too interested in knowing about romantic lives of celebrities. However, Alia finds the whole thing quite pointless. She says, "Like I don’t want to give out details of when I am getting married because it is nobody’s business or where I am going for lunch as it is nobody’s business. But people are speculating and talking about it, now that there is something I can’t do much about.”
On the work front, Alia is currently raking praises for her recently released film 'Gangubai Kathiawadi'.
