The concept of live in is very popular in modern relationships but in the context of traditional Indian society, it is largely frowned upon. In a recent conversation with Filmfare, actress Alia Bhatt shared her take on live in relationships. Before getting married to Ranbir Kapoor earlier this year, Alia had moved in with him for a some time.

Talking from her experience, the actress told Filmfare, "If you can, why not? I think it’s great. You get used to each other, you get comfortable, you build so many memories without the pressure and that baggage or like ‘shaadi karni hai (we want to get married)’. To each his own.”

She further added, “We were actually gonna get married which is why we planned to move in together but then the pandemic happened, so the planning couldn’t stop. So we were like at least go ahead with moving in and we’ll figure out the rest, let this all settle down. Actually, we planned it like that only."

Talking about the work aspect, Alia has been a part of successful films like 'RRR', 'Gangubai Kathiavadi' and 'Darlings' in recent past and now she is awaiting the release of 'Brahmastra' in which she'll be seen sharing screen with husband Ranbir Kapoor.
