Kangana Ranaut is very much known for her unfiltered talks and recently she had hit the headlines again for taking a dig at another amazingly talented actress, Alia Bhatt and this time it was for her performance in Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’ co-starring Ranveer Singh. When Ranau’s ‘Manikarnika’ was compared to Alia’s ‘Gully Boy’, the ‘Queen’ actress was pissed off and said, “I am embarrassed...What is there to beat in Gully Boy Performance ....same snappy muh phat girl... Bollywood’s idea of a fiery girl, woman empowerment and good acting, spare me this embarrassment, please. Media has taken filmy kids love too far...stop pampering mediocre work or else bar will never be raised."
When Alia was asked about what she thinks on the remark, she reacted saying, “I respect Kangana’s work a lot and I respect her opinion. If she feels a particular way she must have reason to feel that way. I would rather remember how much she had praised me after watching Raazi. And I’d just like to focus on my work. Maybe she will appreciate me again if I work hard enough.”
Woah, now that’s a classy reply! What say? Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia is currently busy promoting her upcoming film ‘Kalank’ which also features Sonakshi Sinha, Madhuri Dixit, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles. The film is all set to hit the screens on the 17th of April this year.
