Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has revealed that she had met director SS Rajamouli at airport once and had asked him an opportunity to star in his direction. Currently, the mega budget maker is directing the multilingual movie RRR after huge success of Baahubali series which made him a worldwide phenomenon.

RRR stars Jr NTR and Ramcharan as the heroes, and the movie is based on the lives of freedom fighters Alluri Sitaramaraju and Komaram Bheem and Alia Bhatt plays Ramcharan's pair in the movie in a character named Sita. The movie also stars Samuthirakani and Bollywood hero Ajay Devgn in an important role.

Speaking recently in an interview, Alia revealed how she got the chance to work in RRR. She said that after watching Baahubali, she had got very interested to work in a movie directed by SS Rajamouli, and once when she got to meet him in an airport, she had expressed her wish to act in his movie atleast in a small role and now she's happy to have bagged the role of the female lead in his movie RRR.
