She came… exposed and became a sensation… The sizzling controversy queen and Pakistani starlet Veena Malik got into limelight by entering reality show Bigg Boss with her on-screen chemistry with Ashmit Patel and on-the-face attitude. But what caught maximum eyeballs is her nude photoshoot for the Indian edition of FHM magazine with an ISI tattoo painted on her arm.

While media had been following each of her moves and statements, there were many who were unhappy with Veena’s actions. Latest in expressing displeasure at Veena is her very own countryman and singing sensation Ali Zafar.

Fed up with Veena’s publicity antics – which many believe are giving a bad name to her home country Pakistan – Ali Zafar has lashed out at her saying, she should not be taken as the representative of Pakistan or its culture. “You have to understand that she’s an individual and you can’t judge the entire community on the basis of one person’s behaviour,” quoted Ali, whose film ‘London Paris New York’ is all set to release soon.

Earlier Meera, the Pakistani actress who shot to fame in India with Mahesh Bhatt’s ‘Nazar’, where she co-starred with actor Ashmit Patel (who is currently romancing Veena), had also blamed the starlet for disrespecting family values.

After Veena’s FHM photoshoot, Meera had stated, “Veena Malik is acting very cheap. The way she presented herself in front of Indian audiences is not right. She is denigrating the image of Pakistani women. This is not how women in Pakistan are.”

“She's doing all this because she is hungry for fame. She has no self-respect and is ready to do anything to become famous,” Meera added.

But when contacted B-town’s PR guru Dale Bhagwagar (incidentally the publicist of the likes of Meera, Ashmit and Neetu) about Meera and Ali Zafar’s remarks on Ms Malik, he refrained from comment.
