Congratulations are in order for celebrity couple Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal as they were recently awarded at Maratea Film Festival in Italy for their achievements in cinema. The fact that past winners of this award include people like Sophia Loren, Richard Gere and John Landis shows how prestigious it is.

According to a recent report in TOI, Richa expressed her delight on recieving this honour and stated, “To know the past recipients of the award is such an honour. Ali and I were honoured to be amongst peers who love cinema as much as we do and to celebrate everything about the movies."

Ali Fazal on the other hand stated, “I’m honored that the Maratea Film Festival chose to honour richa and me. This recognition meant a lot to us as artists looking to bring upon a change with our stories and actions. For a platform to internationally recognise our work makes me very happy. Glad to know that our work has had an impact in different parts of the world."
