Alagiri makes his next big announcement

Just recently did Alagiri organise a march along with his supproters to Karunanidhi’s samadhi at Marina. But the general notion is that the march did not attract many people as expected. However Alagiri has recently stated in an interview that he will engage in talks with his party cadre in addition to making an announcement as well.

And that is he has promised to erect a statue for Karunanidhi in Madurai. Reportedly the statue will be in Paal Pannai area of Madurai. Pertaining to this, he also revealed a request letter has been sent to the government for approval.

The statue would be of bronze with its dimensions yet to be decided upon.
