'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' @ 2: Looking back at Pooja Hegde's presence!

If Pooja Hegde is one of the most sought-after actresses in the country today, there is a reason for it. She is smart in her selections and knows precisely what she wants. I really stand by this rule: the time that you appear on-screen has to be memorable, the glam queen recently said.
As an example, she made a mention of Allu Arjun's 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo', which turned two today. Released for the Sankranthi of 2020, the blockbuster family entertainer made Pooja an even more important actress of southern cinema. Her gracious presence in the songs 'Samajavaragamana' and 'Butta Bomma' can't be forgotten. Analyzing them, the 'Maharshi' actress recently said that the songs were about the girl. May we add that they were also about Pooja's irresistible charm?
Pooja's chemistry with Allu Arjun was a feature the average audience registered naturally in their mind. Director Trivikram's imagination and characterization of the heroine are something that the 'Aravindha Sametha' actress understood in toto.
There was a criticism that the film did objectify the character through the scenes where the hero goes gaga over her legs. Pooja pondered over it and said that she is someone who always fights about such a thing. We actually added those scenes where I send him (Allu Arjun's character) into the cold ... I send him somewhere really hot. We added those scenes to try and justify that she doesn’t take it lightly, Pooja said.
The film, produced by S Radha Krishna of Haarika & Hassine Creations, has cemented Pooja's place in Indian cinema. 'Radhe Shyam', the pan-Indian movie, will release in the first half of this year. Then there is Thalapathy Vijay-starrer 'Beast' in Tamil and Telugu. Chiranjeevi's 'Acharya' opposite Ram Charan and Ranveer Singh's 'Cirkus' in Hindi are two of her other upcoming movies. She is a pan-India actress in a true sense of the term.
