Remember the time when Akshay Kumar as Happy Singh made everyone happy by rapping ‘Singh Is Kinng’ along with international rapper Snoop Dogg? Well, the Khiladi has done it again... We mean is that Akki has showcased his singing abilities once again with his forthcoming film ‘Special Chabbis’.

While in ‘Singh Is Kinng’ Akshay made a brief debut as a singer by singing only few lines, in ‘Special Chabbis’ the makers have went on to encourage the actor to croon for a full-length number.

"Mujhme Tu", one of the songs in the film’s album, of late has got another version added to the list recently.

The story goes that the original number, which is a peppy one, was in the process of being transformed into a softer and orchestrated version; when music composer MM Kreem felt that it would be better idea to make Akshay sing the song instead.

Akshay, who was initially apprehensive about his mature singing skills, later rehearsed the song for nearly 15 days before going for its actual recording.

"He isn't a trained singer but he was so well-versed that by the time we recorded the song, it was very easy," quoted director Neeraj who was greatly impressed with the Khiladi’s dedication and the song’s final output.

In fact Akki himself became a fan of the song and talking in an interview he has dedicated the track as a Valentine Day's gift to all lovers.

The team is soon expected to shoot a video for the song with Akshay featuring in it.

Starring Anupam Kher, Manoj Bajpai, Jimmy Shergill and Kajal Aggarwal in lead, the music album of ‘Special Chabbis’ was released recently.
