Akshaye Khanna may be labelling his role in 'Tees Maar Khan' as a 'special appearance'. However, if his director Farah Khan is to be believed, Akshaye has a much integral part to play in this Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer than just being relegated to a special appearance.

"He is truly the surprise element of the film. I guess this is applicable not just for the audience but also Akshaye himself. I am sure he too would be surprised to see his own role in the film. He feels that he isn't there in the film much but the fact is that he has a strong presence in 'Tees Maar Khan'," says Farah in a confident tone.

With the film being less than a month away from release, Farah is throwing an open challenge to her actor who has forever revelled being an underdog right through his career, "Trust me when I say this but Akshaye is the maddest of them all in the film", she says, "I have told him that I will do 'taandav' on his head when he would be walking away with all the rave reviews for the film. He is that special to the film."

Hope Akshaye too starts believing that soon.
