Akshaya arrives

One of the young actresses to leave a mark for herself in Kollywood in the recent past is Akshaya. She played a seductive sister-in-law in Arya starrer Kalaba Kadhalan. Akshaya has now emerged a sought-after heroine here.
Asked whether she would continue playing such glamorous roles in future, she instantly replies 'no'. I would love myself to be remembered as an actress, who can do any type of characters. Glamour is not my cup of tea, she says.
In Kalaba Kadhalan, more than glamour, I had perform hard in that tough role, she says and adds in my next movie Mansukullae, I play a bubbly college girl, which is quite different from the one in Kalaba Kadhalan.
