Akshay Kumar may be on a mini break of sorts, what with a family vacation in Goa. However even in the world of films, he is taking a break when it comes to his screen releases, only to get ready for making a strike in a while.

Though he has been delivering an average of one release every three months, it is going to be a gap of over six months between 'Boss' and 'Holiday'. After that it is going to be business as usual for Akshay Kumar as there would be a flurry of releases.

Remake of 'Thuppakki', the shooting of 'Holiday' is already though and the film is in post production. Akshay is looking at releasing the film on 1st May.

'Holiday' would be followed by 'Its Entertainment' in August. Both are huge films for Akshay and come with a potential of scoring over 100 crore each, courtesy their out and out entertainment quotient. No wonder, it is going to be one mega year for Akshay since 'Gabbar' too would be releasing before end of year. It is being made by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and is a huge film again.

Akshay may have been off the big screen for a while but not for long since there are a couple of more major announcements on the anvil and shooting of 'Shaukeen' too in the pipeline in quick time.
