After Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar's 'Gold' poster was released recently, the makers have dropped a teaser yesterday that is sure to give you goosebumps. The actor’s charm from the poster could also be seen in the intriguing teaser that was released.

The teaser starts with an interesting note that asks us to stand for the National Anthem first. Then surprisingly, as we ready ourselves, there comes this twist where the British National Anthem - “God Save the Queen” begins to play and the Union Jack flutters across the screen. By the time we get out of the shock, the viewers are asked how they felt about it. And then it continues, "For 200 years we stood up for the British national anthem, until, one man's dream, made the British stand up for our anthem." Followed by a dramatic pause, Akshay is seen taking out the Indian flag from his inner pocket.. What must have he done next? The teaser continues, “One man’s dream... made the Bristish stand up for our anthem.” As the teaser was ending, Vande Mataran could be heard in the background .

Directed by Reema Kagti, ‘Gold’ features Mouni Roy, Kunal Kapoor, Vineet Kumar Singh, Amit Sadh, Sunny Kaushal besides Akshay Kumar. It is a story set on the backdrop of India’s historic Olympic win in 1948. The film is a fictionalised tale and is not a sports biopic. ‘Gold’ is slated to release on 15 August,2018.
