With his next film ‘Gabbar’ Khiladi of B-Town is likely to make a huge impression with his on-screen avatar. While on one side Shahid Kapoor is going bald for his ‘Haider’ film, here Akshay Kumar is going to grow his hair and beard for his film.

Talks are that ‘Gabbar’ is expected to start its shooting by January end (2014) for which Akki has nearly one and half month to get into the hairy look. Well, it will be surely a completely new experience to watch the usually clean actor in such avatar, right?

It is said that in fact, Akshay’s look was inspired from R.Madhavan, who is currently seen in such look for his forthcoming Tamil film.

Incidentally, Akshay wore the beard in the superhit film 'Sinngh Is Kinng' and later in much hairy avatar a mobile ad.

‘Gabbar’, produced by Shabina Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, marks the directorial debut of south filmmaker Krish. The hunt is currently on for the female lead, since recently Shraddha Kapoor opted out of the project citing date issues. Shabina and Bhansali had last worked with Akshay in 'Rowdy Rathore'.
